U-Fucoidan is
is a super concentrated extract of Laminaria japonica, brown seaweed named kombu. This plant is

In 1996
two Japanese research facilities, Biomedical Research Laboratories of Takara

The mechanism by which the self-destruction occurs, known as apoptosis, is due to activation by the digestive enzymes
contained in the cells themselves.
